Job summary

Integra Partners seeks an experienced Utilization Management Nurse Supervisor to lead the UM nursing team, ensuring performance, accountability, and professional development. You will conduct regular 1:1s, manage performance reviews, and drive compliance with CMS, NCQA, and state regulations.

The role balances hands-on supervision with leadership duties, mentoring frontline staff and overseeing case assignments and authorizations in a remote, nationwide work environment.

Qualifications

• Provide day-to-day supervision of UM nurses, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and adherence to policies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership and oversight to the UM nursing team.
• Lead daily/weekly huddles, communicate priorities, and set expectations for performance and timeliness.
• Serve as first point of escalation for staff questions and operational challenges.
• Monitor productivity, timeliness, and quality of work through reporting and audits.
• Oversee case assignment, queue management, and authorization workflows.
• Perform authorization reviews utilizing federal/state mandates and plan policies.
• Review and process clinical and administrative appeals; coordinate with Medical Director when required.
• Generate and review daily/weekly reporting on productivity and case timeliness.
• Manage calendars including PTO and rotation schedules.
• Participate in UAT and system/process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal partners to resolve escalations.
• Represent UM nursing team in meetings and stakeholder interactions.
• Maintain confidentiality per company policies and regulations.
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
