Job summary

Kaukahi is seeking a GIS Analyst to support development and maintenance of client utility GIS projects. You will enter spatial data, generate maps, and perform geoprocessing using ArcGIS while collaborating with project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in GIS and 3-5 years of experience, strong communication, and the ability to work remotely with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS or closely related field required.
• 3–5 years of GIS experience in a multi-user GIS environment.
• GIS certification may substitute part of minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Enter spatial data and create custom maps using ArcGIS.
• Maintain data library, feature codes, and metadata.
• Review data for accuracy and apply quality control procedures.
• Prepare data requests and deliver GIS outputs for clients and stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and participate in project meetings.
• Assist with construction inspections and utility locates as needed.
