Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a Utility & Energy Due Diligence Program Manager to support a large portfolio of site developments. You will lead power and utility due diligence, assess capacity, and coordinate with utilities, title companies, and legal teams to remove roadblocks and accelerate timelines.

This remote role requires strong analytical skills, experience with easements and site entitlement processes, and proficiency in Excel and project-tracking tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with utility infrastructure and site development processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct power and utility due diligence for new development sites, including load letter submissions and capacity assessments.
• Research substation availability, feeder capacity, service territories, and constraints.
• Compile findings into standardized due diligence packages for site development decisions.
• Review easements, rights-of-way, access agreements, and related documents for risks or encumbrances.
• Coordinate with title companies, surveyors, legal teams, and external consultants to resolve issues.
• Maintain portfolio-level easement trackers and reporting tools.
• Serve as technical liaison with utilities, account managers, right-of-way teams, and permitting authorities.
• Coordinate pre-application meetings and utility site visits.
• Track milestones, commitments, timelines, and critical path activities across projects.
• Develop templates and dashboards to improve visibility and reduce cycle times.
• Support senior managers with technical analysis and execution across the portfolio.
