Job summary

ElevenLabs is hiring a Direct Tax Lead to own our US income tax provision, compliance, and controls, reporting to the Head of Tax. The role oversees ASC 740 provisions for the US and international entities, and manages external providers and audits from our remote-enabled US operations.

You’ll own the quarterly and annual tax provisions, calendar planning, and related footnote disclosures, ensuring accurate filings and SOX alignment as we scale.

Qualifications

• Deep ASC 740 expertise for a multinational — provision, deferreds, valuation allowance, uncertain tax positions, rate reconciliation, disclosures.
• Experience owning a US federal and multistate compliance calendar (returns, extensions, estimates).
• Experience with US international provisions (NCTI/GILTI, Subpart F, FDDEI, §163(j)) and their flow into the provision.

Responsibilities

• Own the US income tax provision, compliance calendar, and related controls.
• Manage engagements with external providers and be accountable for output; oversee ASC 740 provision.
• Draft memos supporting positions and work with Big 4 advisors and external auditors.
