Job summary

First Stop Health, LLC is seeking board-certified physicians to provide 1099 remote urgent care consultations. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a range of non-emergency conditions via video, phone, or chat, while maintaining high-quality patient experience.

Ideal candidates bring telemedicine experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage care efficiently in a technology-enabled model. Seasonal position until April 1, 2027.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in family medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine, or related field.
• Active MD/DO license in the applicable state(s) with privileges to practice telemedicine.
• Multi-state licensure preferred; enables broader coverage during the seasonal period.
• Minimum 5 years post-residency experience in urgent care, emergency, or primary care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time telemedicine consultations via video/phone/chat.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat non-emergency conditions remotely.
• Prescribe medications per guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Document encounters accurately in the EHR and ensure data integrity.
• Educate patients on self-care and follow-up plans; coordinate care with other clinicians.
• Contribute to maintaining clinical guidelines and SOPs.
• Support a high-quality patient experience in a fully remote setting.
