Job summary

Herdt Consulting is seeking an experienced UiPath RPA Developer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain automations for Navy ERP financial processing in a remote arrangement. The role requires 10+ years of professional experience, a Bachelor's degree, and hands-on UiPath Studio/Orchestrator work with SAP GUI and Excel.

Remote work is available, with proximity to Norfolk, VA, Washington, DC, or San Diego, CA helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing and supporting production automations using UiPath Studio and UiPath Orchestrator.
• Experience automating SAP GUI and Microsoft Excel-based business processes.
• Strong understanding of RPA design, queues, assets, logging, exception handling, and bot monitoring.
• Experience with requirements analysis, solution design, unit testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and production support.
• Ability to develop secure, controlled automations for financial or other high-accountability processes.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain UiPath automations for Navy ERP financial processing.
• Translate manual processes and requirements into scalable RPA solutions.
• Automate interactions across SAP GUI, Excel, files, reports, and related sources.
• Build robust exception handling, logging, audit trails, credential controls, and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot failed bot executions and implement sustainable corrections and enhancements.
• Create technical documentation, test scripts, deployment materials, and operating procedures.
