Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a UI/UX Developer to build React SPAs with secure API integrations, responsive UI design, and WCAG‑compliant accessibility. You’ll craft workflow‑driven UX for reconciliation and exception‑management systems and deliver high‑performing, reliable interfaces across cross‑functional teams.

You’ll collaborate with backend, ingestion, reporting, and DevOps squads to ensure cohesive end‑to‑end workflows, document components and UX standards, and

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript for SPA development.
Experience with React Router and state management libraries.
Hands-on with modern CSS and responsive UI design.
Implementing secure API integrations and validation.

Responsibilities

Build React single-page applications with modular components and robust state management.
Implement UI features and workflows for reconciliation and exception review processes.
Deliver responsive layouts using grid, flexbox, and media queries.
Integrate backend APIs with secure data handling, validation, and error management.
Ensure protected routing, safe rendering, and secure session workflows.
