Job summary

Black Canyon Consulting (BCC) is looking for a User Experience (UX) Developer to join the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) project. This full-time position, located at the NIH campus in Bethesda or remote, involves developing and maintaining user-facing applications using Python and Django.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and substantial experience in UI/UX development within an Agile environment. Competitive benefits and a salary range of $90,000 to $130,000 are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience developing UI / UX applications.
• Familiarity with USWDS styling guidelines.
• Ability to produce documentation detailing application workflow.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new Python and Django UI components.
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate user-facing applications.
• Produce CSS supplements for NCBI web UI applications.
