Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking experienced Graphic and UI/UX Designers for a remote, US-based contractor role focused on improving visual design and user experience standards for next-generation AI systems.

You will create and evaluate digital designs, develop UI/UX solutions, and provide expert feedback on usability, typography, and visual communication. Strong design judgment and independence in a remote setting are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Graphic Design or UI/UX.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality design work.
• Expert proficiency in Figma and modern design tools.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy and digital product design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide thoughtful feedback and iterate on design challenges.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create visually compelling graphics, layouts, and digital interfaces.
• Design and refine UI/UX wireframes, prototypes, and design systems using Figma.
• Apply typography, layout, and visual hierarchy principles effectively.
• Review design iterations and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Document design decisions, processes, and recommendations.
