Job summary

Rolls-Royce is offering a UI/UX Designer Intern role for a 12-week remote internship. You’ll support digital projects within the Defense Digital and IT Team, collaborating with internal and contracted software teams, and contributing to the global Cobalt design system to deliver usable interfaces.

You will create user stories, mockups, and designs, ensure accessibility, and help translate requirements into practical UI solutions while learning from experienced colleagues in a fast-moving agile

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant design field (Graphic Design / UX/UI).
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• U.S. work authorization required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Define design that is easy to use and delivers value for internal and external customers.
• Bridge requirements between product owners, developers, and business users.
• Participate in the global design community to stay aligned with design and branding changes.
• Contribute to the global design system as it evolves.
• Validate products meet accessibility, usability, and design standards.
• Help train and coach others in design best practices.
