Job summary

AuraOne is seeking a UI Engineer reviewer to evaluate production code, debugging traces, and AI outputs for real-world correctness. You will reproduce failures, write the unit test the model should have written, and explain the fix so the team can target the gap.

As a contractor, you will grade candidate solutions, write the smallest failing tests, and rank results with rubric-driven rationale. Reliable async availability for 10 hours per week is required.

Qualifications

• Strong day-job engineering experience to read, run, and debug unfamiliar UI code.
• Ability to write concise unit tests capturing a single failure mode.
• Familiarity with a testing framework: pytest, Jest, or JUnit.
• Clear written reasoning to persuade a senior engineer.
• Reliable async availability for at least 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Run and reproduce candidate code outputs in a sandboxed environment.
• Grade UI engineer solutions for correctness, style, and edge-case handling.
• Write minimal failing tests that demonstrate a bug.
• Compare paired solutions and rank them with a written rationale tied to the rubric.
• Tag failure modes with severity scores.
