Job summary

Illumination Works LLC is seeking a User Interface (UI) Developer to modernize a front-end application, delivering secure, responsive interfaces that streamline user workflows and reduce system hopping. You will build reusable UI components with Java and Angular, integrate with REST APIs, and work with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA, and cybersecurity to meet government-approved designs.

The role requires ability to obtain Secret clearance, pass a background check, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Experience building front-end interfaces with Java and Angular.
• Implement government-approved UI/UX designs and wireframes.
• Develop reusable UI components and consistent navigation patterns.
• Integrate front-end with backend services and REST APIs securely.
• Collaborate with UI/UX, data services, backend, QA, cybersecurity and DoD stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain user interfaces using Java and Angular.
• Implement Government-approved UI/UX designs, wireframes, and persona-based workflows
• Develop reusable UI components, consistent navigation patterns, and streamlined workflows
• Integrate front-end components with backend services and REST APIs
• Work within authentication, authorization, RBAC, validation, and security architecture
• Modernize Oracle Forms-based UIs while maintaining compatibility with libraries/infrastructure
• Collaborate with designers, data services, backend, QA, cybersecurity, and government stakeholders
• Develop and execute unit and integration testing; support regression testing and releases
• Use Git and Agile practices; participate in code reviews and backlog refinement
• Create maintainable technical documentation and support defects and production issues
