Job summary

Appsierra Group is seeking a Generalist to evaluate U.S. tax filing workflows and related financial processes. This remote, contract role requires familiarity with the U.S. tax filing process and the ability to review documents, scenarios, and system outputs against tax requirements.

You’ll work with Google Workspace tools, annotate findings, and report results to project coordinators. The position offers a nationwide remote engagement for mainland U.S. residents with immediate availability.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with U.S. individual tax filing and tax documents.
• Hands-on experience reviewing and annotating financial information.
• Ability to apply evaluation rubrics and maintain consistency.
• Experience with Google Workspace tools is a plus.
• Current mainland U.S. residency and immediate availability.

Responsibilities

• Review, annotate, and evaluate U.S. tax filing workflows and related financial processes.
• Apply project instructions and defined rubrics consistently.
• Assess workflow accuracy, completeness, and user experience.
• Compare system-generated outputs against real-world tax documents and scenarios.
• Review and annotate tax-related documents with close attention to detail.
• Connect relevant personal financial accounts through secure Plaid login for project-specific evaluation.
• Connect personal Gmail and Google Drive where required for workflow reviews and document sharing.
• Provide relevant tax documents for project purposes, with downstream use after sanitization.
• Communicate findings through clear written and verbal feedback.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project coordinators and provide timely updates.
• Follow structured digital workflows using Google Workspace and related tools.
