Job summary

Maximus is seeking a System Test Engineer to provide subject matter proficiency for USAF missions. You will analyze, plan, and develop test documents, and perform various manual and automated testing to verify system operability and compliance across environments.

Requirements include active TS/SCI with CI Poly, 5 years of testing experience, Jira, and cloud testing. Some travel (10–20%) is expected. This role is remote but contingent on award and requires DoD DevSecOps integration experience.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• Bachelor's degree required (Master's may substitute for 2 years).
• 5 years of recent and relevant experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests to verify system operability and compliance.
• 3 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).
• 3 years of experience testing web-based applications.
• Practical experience testing and analyzing RESTful interfaces and sending/receiving RESTful information.
• Practical experience testing in a cloud environment.
• DCWF Job Code: 671 Intermediate.
• Willingness to travel 10% to 20% of the time, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, plan, and document test strategies and procedures.
• Develop test documents and execute manual and automated tests (unit, integration, functional, end-to-end).
• Support verification of system operability and compliance across environments.
• Collaborate in DoD DevSecOps contexts and ensure traceability to requirements.
