Job summary

Conviso Inc is seeking a Trellix Administrator to optimize and maintain the agency's endpoint security posture. You will focus on remediating legacy deployments and supporting secure cloud expansion within agile teams using Jira.

DoD 8570 IAT II (Security+) certification is required, and experience in regulated government environments is highly valued. The role is remote with benefits, 401K, and accrued PTO.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570 IAT II (Security+) certification required.
• Experience in government/regulatory environments.
• Proficient with Trellix endpoint security and policy management.

Responsibilities

• Trellix Platform Management: Manage, maintain, and optimize Trellix endpoint security solutions across complex environments.
• Deployment Cleanup & Optimization: Review deployments, remove obsolete policies/agents, remediate misconfigurations, document changes for audits.
• Oracle Cloud Security Integration: Support secure migration and operation of Trellix agents and policies for OCI workloads.
• Compliance Monitoring: Track and report endpoint compliance, vulnerabilities, and incident response activities per DoD requirements.
• Agile Project Support: Participate in Agile teams; use Jira to manage tasks, backlog, and document updates.
• Incident Support: Investigate, triage, and resolve escalated security issues with IT teams.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain SOPs, system architecture, and knowledge bases.
