Job summary

The Standard is offering a Corporate Finance and Accounting Treasury internship designed to give hands-on experience across finance, accounting, treasury, and business support activities in a fully remote environment.

The internship helps students apply classroom knowledge while developing technical, analytical, and workplace skills needed for a finance or accounting career. It emphasizes collaboration, learning, and exposure to leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student during internship.
• Sponsorship not available for this internship.
• Preferred majors in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills demonstrated by coursework or prior work.
• Experience with MS Office including Excel, Teams, Outlook; AI tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accounting, Reporting, and Analysis: assist with financial close and reporting activities; conduct policy research; complete reconciliations and outage analysis; review analytical models.
• Process Documentation and Improvement: create/update processing task documentation to support roles; contribute to process improvement.
• Research and Business Support: perform peer company analysis; support special projects; perform other duties as assigned.
• Professional Development: build workplace adaptability; observe or meet with executive leadership; develop resilience.
