Job summary

BCD Travel is seeking a Travel Consultant III for a remote, part-time role in the United States. You will respond to client requests, book travel, and ensure policy compliance while delivering thoughtful travel guidance.

Responsibilities include reservations, policy consultation, and handling regulatory requirements. You will work 24-30 hours weekly with shifts including weekends and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a travel agent.
• Advanced skills in Sabre GDS.
• Strong English communication, both written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of travel industry policies and procedures.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Search and confirm travel reservations for the customer.
• Understand and apply client travel policy for consultations.
• Handle regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas) as needed.
• Provide clients with fares, exchange costs, and penalties information.
• Identify opportunities to improve operations and relationships with clients.
• Maintain and update knowledge of travel industries supported.
