Atrium Health Navicent Medical Center is seeking a part-time Trauma Registry Data Abstractor to join the Trauma Services team. You will analyze and abstract patient injury data, assign AIS/ICD-10 codes, and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality in a remote role that requires GA residency.

The ideal candidate has high school diploma or GED, 1 year hospital experience, and familiarity with EHR systems. This position offers 20 hours per week with a pay range of $20.80–$31.20 per hour,

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in hospital or physician practice.
• Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems preferred.

Mansioni

• Analyze and abstract injury diagnoses and procedures to code per AIS and ICD-10.
• Apply NTDS and GA DPH definitions.
• Identify hospital events, complications, and comorbidities per NTDS definitions.
• Maintain 95%+ accuracy and confidentiality of trauma data.
• Support quality improvement activities and meetings.
