Larson Maddox, a premier California litigation firm, seeks a Transportation Litigation Attorney to join its growing team. This role is largely remote for CA-based attorneys, with office space available.

You will manage transportation litigation from intake to resolution, handle motions and depositions, communicate with clients and claims professionals, and contribute to building a specialized transportation practice.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar admission is required.
• 4+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience handling transportation, trucking, or casualty matters.
• Strong writing, deposition, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage files independently and interact directly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation litigation matters independently from intake through resolution.
• Develop case strategy and conduct early case analysis.
• Draft and argue motions, prepare legal memoranda, and manage all phases of written discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Communicate directly with clients, claims professionals, and opposing counsel.
