Job summary

The ideal candidate has an engineering-related two-year degree and 5+ years in electric transmission field services, with knowledge of NERC standards and CMMS (Maximo). Strong collaboration and planning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal, written and computer skills.
• Two-year engineering-related degree preferred.
• Experience in electric transmission field services or operations (5+ years preferred).
• Knowledge of NERC reliability standards and compliance is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to AMP Transmission footprint sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AMPT system operations, maintenance, and field services.
• Ensure procedures and documentation meet regulatory compliance and good utility practices.
• Provide operational and maintenance guidance on AMPT assets and projects.
• Assist with RFP development, vetting, and management of third-party field services.
• Assist in managing AMPT-Member O&M agreements including budgets, schedules, inventories.
• Help implement asset management and emergency preparedness programs.
• Develop and maintain maintenance files and databases.
• Collaborate with Transmission Planning and Engineering on capital projects.
• Help implement equipment ratings and operation guidelines for safe/ compliant operation.
• Support project management and other departments to complete tasks.
