Job summary

Lumen is seeking a remote Threat Intelligence Researcher on the Research & Analysis team to track advanced threats using AI-assisted workflows. The role leverages global datasets, telemetry, and data science to transform observations into actionable intelligence for customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in threat analysis and security research.
• Fluency in advanced threat hunting methodologies and TTPs.
• Experience with large-scale data analysis platforms (e.g., PySpark).
• Experience with telemetry collection and analysis across OSINT, endpoint and network data.

Responsibilities

• Leverage global datasets to track malicious actors, infrastructure and campaigns.
• Build AI-assisted and automation-driven methods to accelerate detection and intelligence production.
• Define, develop, and implement techniques for tracking adversaries and delivering actionable intelligence.
• Lead threat hunting operations and collaborate across teams to scale data sources and workflows.
• Identify malicious activity in large-scale data and scale detections via Python automation.
• Establish AI-powered workflows to automate detections of adversary activity.
• Provide actionable analysis and strategic insights into emerging threats for executives and customers.
