Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG), a AAA insurer, is actively hiring for a Third Party Vendor Risk Management Specialist, remote across the United States (excl. HI, AK). You will assess risks in supplier relationships and ensure controls meet CSAA tolerance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 6+ years in related work, incl. 4+ years in third-party risk management or information security.
• Self-directed and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with internal partners.
• Organizational skills to manage many assessments concurrently.
• Knowledge of third-party risk governance and regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of legal and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of third-party relationships.
• Perform due diligence on third-party suppliers to meet standards.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
• Collaborate with Legal and Procurement to ensure risk provisions in contracts.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Develop and deliver training on third-party risk policies.
• Assist senior executives to drive risk posture and portfolio reduction.
