Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Senior Therapy Development Specialist for a remote role in the Structural Heart team. The position focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with physicians and site stakeholders to achieve clinical trial enrollment objectives and streamline patient screening.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the sciences, medicine, nursing, or similar discipline highly preferred.
• Minimum of 8+ years of related work experience in the medical device field-based role, with a mix of sales and clinical research preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and/or facilitate educational programs for healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Define strategies to drive enrollment at clinical trial sites within assigned territory to meet enrolment targets.
• Establish regular touch points with site investigators and research teams to elevate trial visibility and enrollment.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders including cardiologists and surgeons.
• Gather data on patient pipeline and track enrollment progress.
• Coordinate communication to prioritize enrollment activities at the site and ensure procedures are performed well.
• Maintain up-to-date product and clinical trial knowledge and participate in education programs.
• Perform other related duties, including taking calls on evenings and weekends.
