Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Behavioral Health or related field required.
• Must be independently state licensed (no associate licenses accepted).
• Minimum of three years experience in behavioral health field preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites as well as virtual meetings (Zoom, GoTo Meeting, Teams).
• Prefer two years experience providing Family Therapy, EMDR, trauma specialty if assigned.

Responsibilities

• The Virtual Therapist assesses and facilitates the care for assigned patients and participates in the treatment and continuing care planning.
• Conducts individual, family, specialized and group psychotherapy and shares clinical information with the treatment team and other entities as appropriate.
• Promotes implementation of therapeutic milieu and daily program schedule; provides patient care in a supportive and empathetic manner.
• Provide on-call coverage as requested.
• Assessment Coordination & Discharge Planning: Virtual meetings with patients, coordinate discharge planning with families/outpatient providers, document activities.
