Avela Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Provider for Teens and Young Adults to deliver evidence-based therapy to autistic and neurodivergent individuals via telehealth. The role emphasizes anxiety, emotion regulation, and social challenges, with a focus on growth, autonomy, and family collaboration.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, maintain thorough documentation, and contribute to program evaluation.

Qualificações

• Master's or doctoral degree in psychology or social work or a related field.
• Independent clinical licensure (e.g., LCSW, Licensed Psychologist).
• Experience providing evidence-based behavioral/cognitive behavioral therapy
• Experience supporting individuals experiencing suicidal ideation, suicidality, and non-suicidal self-injury
• Demonstrated ability in engaging clients via telehealth.
• Commitment to strengths-based, and collaborative care.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver CBT- and ACT-informed telehealth therapy to autistic and neurodivergent teens and young adults.
• Incorporate psychoeducation, skill-building, and values exploration into individual and family sessions.
• Address anxiety, mood, and behavioral concerns through collaborative, strength-based approaches.
• Support parents (where appropriate) in understanding and responding to their teen’s needs using the Avela model.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to program evaluation and outcomes tracking.
