You will work remotely as a contractor on a 10–15+ hrs/week schedule, for 8–10 weeks, delivering rigorous derivations, documentation, and iterative refinement with expert feedback. Proficiency in Python, LaTeX, and Jupyter is expected to verify computations and present results clearly.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics with relevant research experience.
• 2–5 recent publications in a relevant physics field preferred.
• Strong technical writing and computational skills.

Responsibilities

• Solve advanced physics problems with rigorous derivations and analysis.
• Document assumptions, approximations, and results using LaTeX.
• Use Python, SymPy, and Jupyter for computational verification.
