Varsity Tutors is seeking a Texas-certified teacher to join its Live Learning Platform as a remote tutor. You’ll leverage your classroom expertise to tutor students nationwide from home, choosing your own schedule and earning competitive hourly rates.

The platform supports 1-on-1 online sessions, with payments issued promptly, often twice per week. This role emphasizes TEKS-aligned instruction and adaptable teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Teaching Certificate (Required).
• Deep knowledge of your certified subject area(s) with ability to connect K-12 curriculum concepts to student needs.
• Classroom teaching experience in a Texas classroom setting with TEKS standards understanding.
• Conceptual teaching and adaptive instruction: diagnose gaps, adjust pacing, explain concepts in multiple methods.
• Strong communication skills and an engaging teaching style.
