Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects Texas-certified teachers with students nationwide for remote 1-on-1 tutoring. As a Texas Certified Teacher on our platform, you set your own schedule, teach from home, and earn competitive rates while making a real impact.

You'll work with K-12 students, apply TEKS-aligned instruction, diagnose gaps, adjust pacing, and engage learners with our AI-powered Tutor Copilot and platform tools.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Teaching Certificate (Required).
• Subject matter expertise in certified subject areas and ability to connect K-12 concepts to student needs.
• Classroom teaching experience in a Texas setting with TEKS knowledge.
• Ability to diagnose gaps and adjust pacing using multiple methods.
• Strong communication and engaging teaching style.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to individual students.
• Accept instant tutoring requests when available.
• Engage with students using platform tools to enhance learning.
