Varsity Tutors is seeking a Texas-certified teacher to join our Live Learning Platform as a remote, flexible tutor. You’ll bring classroom expertise to online sessions, setting your own schedule and earning competitive rates.

Earn up to $40/hour with the potential for multiple weekly payments. Engage students remotely using our Live Learning Platform and AI-powered tools, while you invoice for sessions and manage your availability.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Teaching Certificate and TEA verification.
• Deep knowledge of TEKS standards and how to apply them in one-on-one instruction.
• Experience teaching in a Texas classroom setting.
• Ability to diagnose gaps, adjust pacing, and explain concepts with multiple methods.
• Able to identify concepts students struggle with and adapt instruction accordingly.
• Excellent communication and engaging teaching style.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to individual students.
• Accept on-demand tutoring sessions when available.
• Invoicing and management of tutoring sessions and payments.
