Job summary

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our Department of Psychiatry in a 100% virtual role. The ideal candidate will help develop and lead an interdisciplinary team in evaluating and treating hospitalized and emergency patients with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses.

Texas licensure is required, with residency in TX, WA, FL, LA or GA. Training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine-Psychiatry

Qualifications

• Board-certified psychiatrist
• Residence in TX, WA, FL, LA or GA
• Training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine-Psychiatry is desirable

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead an interdisciplinary team in the evaluation and treatment of hospitalized and emergency room patients with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses.
• Role will be 100% virtual with a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule.
