Job summary

CVS Health is expanding its Telepharmacy Remote Dispensing Pharmacy team and seeks a Telepharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations with pharmacist oversight from a Supervising Pharmacy location.

In this role you will follow SOPs, manage prescription fulfillment, assist with immunizations and patient interactions, and travel to stores as needed while maintaining accuracy and high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age and licensure/certification
• National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required
• State-level licensure requirements vary by state
• 1+ years full-time experience as a Pharmacy Technician; CVS Pharmacy Technician experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Follow SOPs and support Pharmacists and pharmacy team
• Oversee safe and secure operation of the Remote Dispensing Pharmacy
• Assist with prescription fulfillment and accuracy checks
• Provide empathetic patient interactions and resolve issues
• Inventory management and cycle counts
• Travel to stores in the market for shifts as needed
• Support onboarding and training of new hires in the Telepharmacy Remote Dispensing Pharmacy
• Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and CVS policies
