Job summary

CVS Health Telepharmacy Remote Dispensing Pharmacy is seeking a Telepharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations under Pharmacist oversight. You will ensure safe, compliant dispensing and patient care across remote locations.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, inventory management, and assisting with immunizations and related services where permitted. Requires Pharmacy Technician experience and national certification.

Qualifications

Must comply with state board requirements for pharmacy practice.
If no minimum age is mandated, must be at least 18 years old.
If no minimum education is mandated, must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) is required.
State licensure requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist Pharmacists and the pharmacy team.
Oversee safe and secure operation of the Remote Dispensing Pharmacy, including keyholder duties and inventory control.
Fulfill prescriptions according to workflow procedures for safe and accurate dispensing.
Assist with controlled substance prescription fulfillment and related documentation.
Support patient care by offering immunizations and other services where permissible, under pharmacist supervision.
