Job summary

Dutch is seeking experienced veterinarians for remote telemedicine roles as independent contractors. You will conduct virtual consultations, review histories, and provide evidence‑based treatment recommendations from your home clinic, leveraging our EMR and AI‑assisted SOAP notes.

Qualified candidates are AVMA‑accredited graduates with 3+ years of clinical experience and an active license in states where Dutch operates. A quiet workspace and reliable internet are required for high‑quality care.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an AVMA‑accredited veterinary school or have met requirements to practice in the United States.
• Active veterinary license in one or more states where Dutch operates.
• License in good standing with no malpractice or disciplinary actions.
• 3+ years post‑graduate clinical experience.
• Quiet, professional space with reliable internet for video consults.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations with pet parents via video and asynchronous messaging.
• Review medical history, symptoms, and treatment concerns on Dutch’s platform.
• Establish VCPR when required and determine telemedicine suitability.
• Provide evidence‑based treatment recommendations, including prescriptions when appropriate.
• Communicate clearly, compassionately, and with care in every interaction.
• Document all encounters using Dutch’s EMR and consults in the system.
