Job summary

QuickMD, a leading telemedicine provider, offers fully virtual practice across 44 states for licensed physicians. You set your visit schedule within a weekly framework, work from anywhere, and operate as an independent contractor with per-visit pay.

Compensation scales with visit length and load, including incentives for shorter visits. The role emphasizes high-quality, patient-centered care with minimal admin overhead, supported by a streamlined EMR and provider-support team.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states and willingness to obtain additional licenses (fees covered).
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Strong communication and commitment to clinical excellence.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days, with schedules submitted in advance.
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL where required.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (no controlled substances except buprenorphine for OUD).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
