Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider offering fully virtual, high-quality care across multiple states. Physicians set their own schedule within a weekly framework and work remotely with a support team and streamlined EMR tools.

The role emphasizes addiction care and other telehealth services, with compensation per visit and the potential for higher hourly earnings as visit times shorten. Independent contractor arrangement with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states; provider may be licensed in AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days
• Strong communication and commitment to clinical excellence
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs; training provided
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL where required
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, especially in underserved communities

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (notably buprenorphine for MOUD)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and support staff
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices
