Job summary

QuickMD, a leading telemedicine provider, seeks licensed physicians to join our fully virtual team across multiple states. This independent contractor role offers flexible scheduling, 15–20 hours per week, and a per-visit compensation model ($35 per completed consult; up to $210/hour with shorter visit times).

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five states (prefer three or more of AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX).
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Available to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days.
• Strong communication and clinical excellence.
• License to practice with DEA registration and CSL where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
