Job summary

QuickMD is a fully virtual telemedicine provider offering flexible, physician-led care across multiple states. Physicians set their own schedules, get paid per consult or per hour with strong upside, and work with a dedicated provider-support team.

The role emphasizes addiction care and general telehealth, with onboarding support, malpractice insurance coverage, and modern EMR/telehealth tools. Licensure across several states is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states; preference for three or more of: AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days per week; schedules submitted one week in advance.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and medical history reviews.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
