Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering high-quality virtual care across 44 states. All work is fully virtual, with compensation per completed consult and variable hourly earnings as visit length changes.

Physicians set their own schedule within a weekly framework and work as independent contractors. Ideal candidates hold licenses in multiple states and have telehealth experience, DEA registration, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states.
• Willingness to obtain additional licenses (QuickMD covers costs).
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs.
• Active DEA registration and CSL where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, especially in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual care, including assessments and medical history reviews.
• Deliver patient-centered care and build doctor–patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications; not for controlled substances except buprenorphine for MOUD.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff for comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth innovations.
