Job summary

QuickMD is hiring physicians for fully virtual practice across the United States. Work from anywhere with a structured, flexible weekly framework and an independent contractor (1099) setup.

Compensation includes per-consult pay with substantial upside as visit times shorten, plus a clear path to higher earnings for top performers. The role requires active multi-state licensure, DEA registration, and commitment to at least 15 hours per week across four days.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states (preference for three or more of: AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX).
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across at least four days per week, with schedules submitted one week in advance.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence.
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (no controlled substances except buprenorphine for OUD).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
