Job summary

QuickMD is seeking dedicated, licensed physicians to join our fully virtual telemedicine team. Physicians set their own visit schedules, work from anywhere, and operate as independent contractors with 1099 status.

Applicants must hold an active medical license in at least five U.S. states, have telehealth experience, and be able to commit at least 15 hours per week across four days. Compensation includes per-visit pay and potential hourly earnings based on visit length.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states (preferred three or more of: AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across at least four days per week
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL where required
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices
