Job summary

BlueSky Telepsych is seeking a PMHNP to provide professional telepsychiatry services in a fully remote outpatient setting. You will assess patients, create treatment plans, and prescribe medications as appropriate while ensuring compliance with laws and ethical standards.

You will join a clinician-led team and enjoy autonomy with regular collaborative meetings, flexible hours, and ongoing professional interaction with other therapists and a prescriber.

Qualifications

• Must have a PMHNP license and open to licensing in multiple states: AZ, CO, IA, IL, MA, MD, MN, MS, NC, OH, TN, TX, WA.
• At least 6 months of prior PMHNP work experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals.
• Solid computer and basic technology skills.
• Strong clinical background in psychiatry.
• Experience with diagnosis of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatments; familiarity with non-pharmacological interventions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective individual psychiatric care via telehealth in an outpatient setting.
• Provide direct patient care, conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications as necessary.
• Ensure that all patient care is delivered in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• We are not affiliated with any hospitals or clinics; enjoy autonomy of practicing in the best interest of the patient.
• Grow in teams composed of multiple therapists and a prescriber; onboarding matches you with compatible colleagues.
• Emphasize regular staffing with collaborating therapists, at least monthly, to discuss patient cases or clinical topics.
• Clinical work is performed from home, days/hours are per clinician’s choosing; meetings are virtual.
• Clinical conferences are held four times a week; attend at least one per week for the first 90 days, then one monthly.
