Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking a licensed physician to join its rapidly growing digital health network delivering virtual care to patients nationwide. The physician will conduct video consultations, diagnose and treat a broad range of conditions, prescribe medications when appropriate, and educate patients while maintaining compliant medical records.

The ideal candidate has an MD or DO, board certification, an active license, and telehealth experience.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• National Board Certification required.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in PR.
• Minimum two years of post-residency clinical experience preferred.
• Prior telehealth or virtual care experience strongly preferred.
• Multiple active state medical licenses highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual medical consultations with patients via a secure telemedicine platform.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan.
• Prescribe medications and order labs or diagnostic tests when indicated.
• Provide patient education, counseling, and evidence-based treatment guidance.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic medical documentation.
