Title: Remote Telehealth Dietitian – Part Time

Location: Columbus Regional Healthcare System, Whiteville, NC

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to work remotely 20-25 hours/week providing clinical care for patients at Columbus Regional Healthcare System. Occasional on-site training and assessment may be required.

Aramark’s Digitally Enabled Care telehealth solution delivers the optimal remote patient experience by providing audio-visual touchpoints to facilitate comprehensive medical nutrition therapy (MNT). In this role, you will work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment, providing evidence-based MNT to a diverse patient population utilizing audio-visual telehealth technology. The Clinical Dietitian will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement personalized nutrition plans to positively impact patient outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess patients' nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes.
• Establish rapport and therapeutic alliances via approved telehealth modalities (e.g., phone, video, digital) with a diverse population of patients, caregivers, and the medical team.
• Monitor patients' progress and modify nutrition plans as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest research and developments in clinical nutrition.
• Demonstrate basic internet skills (browser, navigation, search) and comfort with utilizing advanced technology (electronic medical records, audio-visual conferencing solutions, Microsoft Office, productivity tools).
• Comply with all telehealth federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Aramark and client policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) designation required or the ability to obtain RD/RDN.
• Licensed Dietitian in North Carolina.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Passion for helping patients achieve optimal health through proper nutrition.
• Remote work and telehealth experience preferred.
