Job summary

TeleMed2U is seeking a California-licensed Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join our clinical team in a fully virtual, telehealth-only role. This position delivers evidence-based medical nutrition therapy (MNT) to adult patients through secure video visits. There are no in-person, onsite, or hybrid requirements.

The ideal candidate is comfortable practicing independently in a remote environment, values patient-centered care, and collaborates effectively with a multidisciplinary virtual care team.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical or outpatient nutrition experience
• Telehealth or remote clinical experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based medical nutrition therapy and chronic disease management
• Comfortable delivering care exclusively in a virtual clinical environment
• Excellent communication, documentation, and patient engagement skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team
• Proficiency with EMR systems and telehealth platforms
• Reliable internet and private workspace for telehealth

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% virtual MNT via secure telehealth
• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
• Support patients managing chronic/preventive conditions
• Deliver nutrition counseling and ongoing education
• Review labs and care plans to guide treatment
• Document patient encounters accurately in EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams
• Adhere to telehealth best practices and HIPAA standards
• Maintain licensure and compliance with regulations
