Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our Department of Psychiatry. This role is 100% virtual and follows a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule.

The ideal physician will help develop and lead an interdisciplinary team in the evaluation and treatment of hospitalized and emergency room patients with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses. Texas licensure is required, and applicants must reside in Texas, Washington, Florida, Louisiana or

Qualifications

• Board-certified psychiatrist with license to practice in Texas.
• Reside in Texas, Washington, Florida, Louisiana or Georgia.
• Training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine-Psychiatry is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead interdisciplinary team in evaluation and treatment of hospitalized and ER patients with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses.
• Provide telepsychiatry services and manage patient care in a 100% virtual setting; four-day, 10-hour shift schedule.
