Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the GCMG Virtual Critical Care - Virtual Health department. This full-time night-shift role (7p-7a) offers 36 hours per week with 90% remote work and occasional weekends/holidays.

Must have an RN license and BSN preferred, with 1 year of clinical nursing experience. BLS certification is required, and telehealth nursing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active registered nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where providing client nursing services
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Implements nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans in collaboration with the care team
• Promotes safety and adheres to ethical standards
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols
• Float to other units as needed within the service area
