Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with extensive relevant experience in external technology scouting.
• Advanced degrees with 12+ years of experience and track record in partnerships.
• Experience shaping IP strategy and external collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Architect external innovation strategy identifying breakthrough technologies.
• Lead global scouting across academia, startups, venture networks and labs.
• Build technology pipelines prioritizing technical readiness and market potential.
• Drive partnerships, joint ventures, and licensing negotiations.
• Explore whitespace and game-changing applications beyond current markets.
• Provide senior leadership with scenario planning and technology risk assessments.
• Represent Brewer Science at global events and industry forums.
• Shape long-term IP strategy with high-value patent opportunities.
• Guide R&D teams to integrate external technologies and scale.
• Develop senior stakeholder relationships for ongoing collaboration.
