Job summary

Electric Power Engineers, LLC seeks a Technology Risk & Compliance Lead to develop and oversee the company’s risk and compliance program across all business units. You will drive IT security compliance, risk management, audit readiness, and governance for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and related standards.

You’ll collaborate with IT, Legal, HR, Software, and Finance to document policies, manage controls, and ensure timely remediation while advancing a culture of compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of tech compliance, risk, or IT audit experience.
• Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and similar frameworks.
• Cross-functional collaboration with IT, Legal, HR, and leadership.
• Vendor risk management and security questionnaire experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage compliance programs organization-wide.
• Monitor regulations, industry standards, and audit requirements.
• Document, implement, and maintain policies, controls, and workflows.
• Coordinate internal/external audits and evidence reviews.
• Manage risk assessments, remediation plans, and governance reporting.
• Support advanced GRC, vendor risk, and audit automation tools.
• Provide executive updates on milestones, risks, and actions.
