Blacksmith Agency, an AI-first digital agency, seeks an SEO and AEO Strategist to own search for a portfolio of B2B and growing-brand clients. You shape the technical roadmap, content priorities, and the ranking story when clients ask what moved.

You’ll be the strategic voice at the table and drive decisions. The role covers technical SEO, keyword strategy, content coordination with writers/AI, and AI-enabled search methods alongside classic results.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO and fixing issues directly.
• Proficient with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs/Semrush.
• Experience at an agency managing multiple client projects.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, and architecture.
• Define keyword strategy, on-page optimization, and content priorities with writers and AI.
• Increase visibility in AI search and traditional organic results.
• Manage links, local search, and multi-location SEO as needed.
• Produce GA4 and Search Console reporting; plan quarterly client roadmaps.
