This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Technical Program Manager - REMOTE. In this role, you will be at the intersection of cybersecurity and program management, leading the execution of complex projects. You will work alongside multiple teams to define project requirements and leverage advanced technologies to enhance detection engineering workflows. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to innovate, improve decision‑making, and reduce risks in our cybersecurity operations, thereby enabling us to stay ahead of potential threats. Collaboration and strategic communication will be essential as you manage project progress and engage with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large‑scale, complex projects within the Threat Detection Engineering domain.
  • Collaborate with security engineers, software developers, and IT operations to define project requirements, scope, and goals.
  • Leverage technologies like Splunk, Cribl, Exabeam, and Google SecOps for informed project decisions.
  • Integrate Agentic AI solutions to enhance detection engineering workflows.
  • Develop and implement automations to improve security operations using Python or low‑code/no‑code platforms.
  • Champion Infrastructure as Code practices to enhance scalability and resilience.
  • Manage project risks and ambiguities, ensuring successful project completion.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders, ensuring transparency.
  • Maintain knowledge of cybersecurity trends and technologies.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in the cybersecurity field, with at least 3+ years leading large‑scale Detection Engineering Programs.
  • Experience as a Technical Program Manager or in a similar role within cybersecurity or technology.
  • Familiarity with Agentic AI concepts and practical implementation.
  • Technical background in cybersecurity technologies and methodologies.
  • Project management skills with a proven record of leading complex projects.
  • Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP), cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP) are highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage ambiguous requirements and navigate challenges.
  • Experience in incident investigation and communication coordination.
  • Experience tracking activities within Security Operation workflows.
